FIA Principal, David Goldwasser, has over 20 years of litigation and crisis management experience and has been chief restructuring officer in many bankruptcy cases, as well as having been approved and appointed manager of an entity on behalf of the debtor in the New York State Bankruptcy Court Southern District of New York against three objections of creditors by the Hon. Judge Robert D. Drain.

In addition to having a tremendous amount of real estate experience in the acquisition and disposition of properties and mortgage loans, repositioning of properties, loan workouts, new construction and related litigation management, his experience includes the wind down of a mid-size corporation with over 1,000 employees and 17 locations, various property types on a local and national level. He has served as an advisor to several large real estate groups as well as family offices and has served as Director of Acquisitions and head of Construction Management.

Mr. Goldwasser has structured numerous real estate and business deals in New York, Florida and the West Coast and has been successful in raising capital from a diverse group of high-net-worth investors, institutions, and money managers. He has served as Regional Project Manager for Nicon Construction in South Florida, where he managed in excess of $45,000,000 of disaster relief construction from Hurricane Wilma, running a workforce in excess of 300 people
Yitz Taub, CPA, oversees all financial, accounting, and operational aspects of the firm and its investment vehicles. Yitz is responsible for maximizing stakeholder value throughout the life-cycles of a company or investment, from pre-acquisition through investment exit while ensuring that FIA’s clients and stakeholders see efficiency improvements, reporting to required standards, timely returns on their investments, as well as building and fostering the firm’s strong financing relationships.

Since joining the firm, Yitz has been involved in over sixty engagements spanning multiple industries primarily in real estate and also including construction, healthcare, retail, fashion, manufacturing, asset management, professional services, and food, among others. Yitz has advised management teams through financial and managerial crises, complex operational and financial restructurings, and both micro and macro strategic planning.

Prior to joining FIA in 2016, Yitz held various financial and accounting positions at several Miami based real estate development firms. Yitz began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York City. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business and is a certified public accountant in the states of New York and Florida. Yitz has over 11 years of experience in the finance and investment industry.
Ms. Pogrebov structures and negotiates forbearance, discounted payoffs, loans reinstatement and modification solutions for sponsors with distressed and defaulted special situation credits as well as assists clients throughout the insolvency and bankruptcy process.
Ms. Pogrebov is also responsible for underwriting analysis, developing quantitative models to size individual asset and portfolio level debt and creating presentations for marketing and private placement offering materials.
Prior to joining FIACP, Ms. Pogrebov worked as a real estate investment analyst at Bridgewater Capital Partners, where she was underwriting commercial real estate transactions to source equity and debt capital for client’s needs.
Ms. Pogrebov holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Investments from Baruch College (CUNY) and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Finance and Investments from Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
